Cherries are in abundance at my local farmer's market.  Sweet and juicy with a hint of tartness.  My kids can't get enough of them.  And I am right there with them.  I almost ate this  entire container of cherries on my way home today. Luckily  I bought two so I had plenty left for this salad.  Cherries are full of antioxidants and low in calorie.  A great snack. This salad has all my favorite ingredients: (more…)

Packing light is not a skill I have mastered.   I have had years of opportunities to practice and just as I was beginning to show some promise, I had children.   And I moved way down to the very bottom of the packing light totem pole.   I'm going to be here for a while.   Why fight it?  I am getting nice and cozy.
